Product Description

This wonderful little bowl features a French Bulldog surrounded by a colorful floral pattern.   It's the perfect size for serving dips, sauces, olive oil, and small appetizers, or use it to hold rings or change.  It is pretty and practical - my stoneware is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe.  Measures 3" in diameter x 1" tall.

To order, select from the available French Bulldog standard coat colors, fawn or fawn with dark face.  Or, if you'd like the art to be more personal, select the "custom coat color/pattern" option.  An $8 art fee will be added if "custom coat color/pattern" is selected and the price on the page will change to reflect this.  If selecting "custom color color/pattern" option, you will need to submit a clear JPG picture of your dog (in profile) using the image upload field above.

My dipping bowls are hand made in small batches and are often made with custom coat colors and patterns at the customers request.  Because of this, I stock very little, if any, inventory, except for the blank pottery.  Thus, your item will be made upon receiving your order and may take 2-3 weeks before the order ships.  If you are ordering one of the standard coat color options (i.e. not custom) listed above, feel free to contact us to see if we have any in stock.

How do I make my stoneware? In brief, the pieces are slipcast in my studio and bisque fired. Then the item is glazed, hand painted with bands and stripes and fired again.  It is then decorated with my original artwork that I make into decals using my ceramic decal printer.  The decals are made from ceramic pigments and fire at 1600+ degrees Fahrenheit, becoming a part of the glaze surface.  You can visit the "about us" page to see get more information and watch some short videos of the different processes I use to make my stoneware.  Because my stoneware is hand made and hand decorated, it is normal to expect some variation between items, especially in respect to the hand painted accents - no two pieces will be exactly the same.  Also, there may be small specks in the glaze and slight surface irregularities which are all a part of being handmade and only add to the charm of the piece.
