This 4 inch ball ornament features the dog breed of your choice in pastoral setting of grass and sky.  The rest of the ornament is painted in a swirl pattern of either dark blue on jade or burgandy on golden butternut.

Select your breed and corresponding coat color (if there is one) from the “Dog Breed Coat Colors” drop down menu (pictures of available breeds/coat colors can be seen in the Dog Breed List in the top navigation menu). The item you order will closely resemble the color and coat pattern displayed for your breed in the Dog Breed List. The designs painted on our pottery (as shown in the Dog Breed List and throughout the store) are meant to be whimsical representations of the breeds portrayed, not individual portraits. However, we can paint your dog's coat color/pattern.  Select the “Custom color” option that corresponds to your breed in the “Dog Breed Coat Colors” drop down menu. For this option, you will need to submit a clear picture the dog to be painted, for the side of the dog that is painted on the piece. Most of the time, this is the left side of the dog. To be sure, look at the picture of your particular breed in the Dog Breed List and note which side is presented and that is the side your picture will need to clearly show. This is especially true for coats with spots and distinct patterns. If it is a solid colored dog, a photo showing either side will do. Photos can be submitted via the email form under “Contact us”, after you have place your order. Please include in the email, the name on the order and which item(s) the picture(s) correspond to. As stated above, this customization is only available for dogs that we already paint, i.e., dogs on the Dog Breed List. There is no additional cost for this customization.

It is characteristic to notice variations in color and art, including brush-strokes and specks in the glaze. This is the nature of hand painting and adds to the unique quality of each item.
